Pre-Licensing Workshops
April 21, 2010
Dear Palo Alto University Students, Alumni, and Friends:
Are you planning to be licensed as a Psychologist in the state of California? If you are, you may know that the California Board of Psychology requires that psychologists complete coursework or training in five particular subjects in addition to all other requirements for licensure. Palo Alto University (PAU) (formerly Pacific Graduate School of Psychology) will be offering four of these courses this summer (2010) in the form of pre-licensing workshops. Please note that the requirements vary by your graduate school start date. Also, some of the classes that you have taken as part of your graduate program may have already fulfilled these requirements. You may want to check with the California Board of Psychology to see if you need these workshops at www.psychboard.ca.gov. These workshops do not expire so you may wish to consider taking them now.
Please note that the workshops are not available for Continuing Education Units at PAU.
PAU affiliates (current PAU students, faculty and alumni) will be offered a substantial savings and you will also have the convenience of taking the workshops at our new campus at 1791 Arastradero Road; Palo Alto, CA 94304 (just off Alpine Road.)
