Kurt and Barbara Gronowski Psychology Clinic

The Kurt and Barbara Gronowski Psychology Clinic is a community-based psychology training clinic and treatment center dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based, clinical services to adults, older adults, adolescents, children, and families in our community.

Our clinic uses several evidence based psychological treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, illness management, and family psychoeducation and family management.   We have several Specialty Clinics within the Gronowski Clinic as well:

  • Child and Family Program: Dr. Sandra Macias, Assistant Clinic Director, leads a child, adolescent, marital and family specialty clinic providing assessment, treatment for a range of problems including behavior problems, child and adolescent mood and anxiety disorders, parenting problems, couples therapy and family therapy.
  • The Shyness Clinic:  Dr. Nicole Shiloff directs the Shyness Clinic, a specialty program that provides evidence-based treatment for shyness and social anxiety. 
  •  Bipolar Disorders Clinic: Dr. Robert Reiser, Clinic Director, heads up the Bipolar Disorders clinic that provides evidence-based psychosocial treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that teaches people specific cognitive and behavioral skills to help control and minimize the risk of serious mood swings.
  • PTSD/Trauma Clinic:  The Early Intervention Clinic collaborates with the Gronowski clinic by providing referrals and clinician training on assisting trauma survivors.
  • Stress Management:  The Inner Resources Program provides assistance for stress related problems.
